Hong Kong, April 18, 2018 - C&T’s Enterprise Procurement Management (EPM) representative was invited to the 21^st AGM cum Seminar of the Institute of Purchasing & Supply of Hong Kong (IPSHK) at City University of Hong Kong on Apr 14, and gave a speech to the members on “The Smart Procurement & Supply Chain Initiative – Fast, Cheaper and Better”. Through the seamless integration between procurement and document management systems, procurement professionals can strengthen the control of procurement processes with enhanced productivity.

IPSHK promotes professionalism in the purchasing and supply discipline through exchange among members and relevant local and international organizations. On the day of IPSHK AGM, over 100 members attended the seminar for the professional development of procurement and supply chain sectors.

At the seminar, Mr. Tommy Choi, Head of Enterprise Procurement Management of C&T, shared the factors and trends shaping the digital transformation of procurement, and introduced the practice of advanced e-procurement through integrating both procurement and document management systems, which streamlines processes and largely enhances productivity. Tommy also looked forward to the latest application of robotic process automation (RPA) technologies in enterprise resource planning to optimize production efficiency and save costs.

Through the sessions of sharing, discussion and audience interaction, it was a great opportunity for IPSHK members and industry practitioners to get together and share how to make smart procurement decisions to enhance control and efficiency. C&T took this great chance to listen to potential users’ needs and ideas from their professional perspective, and this enabled C&T’s EPM team to provide enhanced e-procurement solutions with maximized benefits.
