Better banking stakeholder communication: C&T Solutions develops regulatory document e-repository and web portal for HKMA
Hong Kong, June 29, 2022 - C&T Solutions is working on a system development project for Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) to enhance internal documentation and external stakeholder communication with an integrated banking regulatory document e-repository and web portal.
HKMA is Hong Kong’s central banking institution committed to maintaining currency stability within the framework of the Linked Exchange Rate System and promoting the stability and integrity of the financial system. Operating with high degrees of autonomy and corporate governance, HKMA pursues transparency and accessibility in its engagement with stakeholders, from authorized banking institutions to the general public. Under the requirements of the Banking Ordinance, HKMA regularly updates and uploads banking regulatory documents, such as supervisory policy manuals and circulars, for authorized institutions’ timely access. Amid the rapid reshaping of the banking industry, HKMA has a growing demand for digital workflow efficiency and organized documentation. Holding excellent credentials of public sector digitation projects, C&T’s solution team has become the chosen IT partner for this system development.
C&T’s technical team is developing an integrated e-system with flexible repository structures, powerful workflow & search tools, and comprehensive security & version control and more features brought by its OpenText-based enterprise content management (ECM) solution. Empowered to collaborate on the central platform for all-rounded documentation with smart filing, search, display and sharing, HKMA’s staff can also easily publish regulatory documents so that the banking stakeholders can access the most updated, relevant documents anytime through the public portal. C&T’s professional service team will also provide full-scale system maintenance and support services to ensure HKMA’s optimized management of banking regulatory documents with smooth and reliable system operations.
