C&T Enhances AI-Driven Data Security with Support from ITC’s ESS funding

Hong Kong, April 17, 2025 - In 2025, the Hong Kong Centre for Generative AI Research and Development (InnoHK) successfully developed its first AI model—HKGAI V1. Currently, over 70 government departments have begun piloting the document assistance tool "Hong Kong Document Assistant" developed by the center. This initiative not only reflects how artificial intelligence technology is driving a new wave of scientific revolution and industrial transformation but also highlights the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's strong commitment to and support for AI development, actively encouraging enterprises and institutions to invest in the research and application of emerging AI technologies.
