Hong Kong, April 1, 2018 - In the first quarter of 2018, C&T Solutions was awarded two major government projects of implementation & combined system development services under Category 3 Major Group of the Standing Offer Agreement for Quality Professional Services 4 (SOA-QPS4). The two projects are hosted by the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) and the Marine Department (MD).

In the upcoming five-yearly Hong Kong-wide Household Expenditure Survey (HES), C&SD will collect up-to-date information on expenditure patterns of households. C&T Solutions is entrusted with the development of a new HES e-system that caters for the anticipated changes in operational procedures and user requirements in the large-scale 2019/20 HES.

Maintaining a massive database in the Ships and Seafarers Registration System (SSRS), MD has engaged C&T Solutions to conduct privacy impact assessment (PIA) and develop a new SSAR system that complies with the department’s IT strategy, addresses the current system deficiencies and improve operational efficiency.

In both projects, C&T Solutions will go through all parts from analysis, design, development, implementation and integration to maintenance of the system. Especially, for ensuring high usability of the central SSRS platform, C&T’s project team will design an intuitive modularized interface for all integrated MD systems. With the SOA-QPS4 scheme, C&T’s technical teams with proven experience and expertise in public sector projects will continue to provide reliable IT services for various government organizations and contribute their best to the provision of better public services.
