Hong Kong, November 23, 2022 - C&T was honored with the Sustainable Digital Award under InnoESG Prize 2022, recognizing the Group as an IT industry practitioner displaying notable contributions to sustainable development and promoting green corporate culture.

Co-organized by SocietyNext Foundation, UNESCO Hong Kong Association Glocal Peace Centre and Rotary Action Group for Peace, the InnoESG Prize program encourages companies to reform their business with emphasis on environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects. The Sustainable Digital Award recognizes IT companies’ outstanding efforts in delivering impact on society, influence on society and innovation in solutions.

C&T is committed to taking up its social responsibility and maintaining a sustainable social environment. To enhance environmental awareness within the company, this year C&T organized the iRecycle Sustainability Program with a series of green initiatives. The main activity, Corporate Recycling Day attracted over 100 colleagues to recycle plastic and glass bottles and develop their recycling habits with the iRecycle reward app launched by iRecycle Limited (Baguio). Dedicated to promoting public awareness of environmental protection, Baguio highly valued C&T’s efforts and nominated the company for the Sustainable Digital Award.

This year, C&T cooperated with different organizations to hold or participate in a multitude of environmental activities. Besides holding the in-house leftover leather hat workshop, toy donation charity program and meat and plastic-free campaign, the Group participated in Hong Kong Green Day, No Air Con Night, Earth Hour and different other city-wide events. Through these green activities, C&T hopes to develop a culture of environmental awareness, waste reduction and recycling, shared among its employees, which together set the example of IT companies and contribute to delivering a meaningful promotion for the improvement of the environment and the sustainability of society.
