Hong Kong, July 14, 2021 - This year, C&T continued to support the Life & Career Education Mentorship Project (LEAP) organized by the HKUGA Education Foundation to share the prospect of the IT industry and advice on career planning to the young generation. On July 7, a group of 30 mentees from three schools gathered at C&T’s online visit event to meet their mentors.

LEAP aims to allow secondary students to have a workplace observation, understand entry requirements and peculiarities and gain an overall outlook of various industries. At the same time, senior employees of the industry will share their experiences with students, encouraging them to explore personal growth and life goals.

C&T invited students from Buddhist Wong Fung Ling College, Sheung Shui Government Secondary School and SKH Bishop Mok Sau Tseng Secondary School to join this online visit event. The event started with the Group’s Senior Vice President, Mr. Steve Yeung, sharing C&T’s history and how the company’s products and services and information technology are closely related to our daily lives.

Following Mr. Yeung’s sharing, the students were divided into groups for in-depth talks with C&T mentors from different departments. This created a great time of interaction between the mentors and students, who were curious about C&T's business operations and the mentors’ daily challenges and showed great interest in the industry.

C&T hopes the online company visit has brought enlightenment and positive impact to the young fellows on goal setting and life planning for their better development in the future.
