Hong Kong, May 18, 2018 - Leading Hong Kong listed information technology (IT) software and service company, Computer And Technologies Holdings Limited (the Group, SEHK 00046) announced today that its EPM software division was awarded the eTendering Solution Project of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas).

Under the project, C&T’s EPM team will provide a complete solution of design, development, integration and implementation for the new e-tendering system of Towngas, serving as a centralized e-portal for various departments of Towngas to efficiently manage the standardized procurement procedures in its large-scale operations, from supplier registration and review to request for quotation (RFQ) and tendering. The system will also enable Towngas to enhance compliance in procurement process, which is of high priority to this acclaimed public service provider.

To mark the launch of the project, Towngas and C&T jointly organized a kick-off ceremony at Towngas’ headquarters in Quarry Bay on May 4, 2018, and invited over 60 project team members and future users of Towngas from different departments. The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Felix Lee (General Manager – Corporate Supplies and Administration, Towngas) and Mr. Steve Yeung (Senior Vice President, C&T), both members of the Project Steering Committee, followed by the traditional roast pig cutting ceremony marking the good omen for the project.

The e-tendering system is expected to roll out by 2018 and C&T will facilitate its high availability and smooth operation with reliable maintenance services.
