ChainStorePlus latest module fits for digital wallet
Digital wallet refers to an electronic device that allows consumers to make electronic commerce transactions. After pre-bundling credit card or bank account information into the application, consumers can enjoy the advantage e-payment in a quick and easy way. Nowadays, digital wallet has become a popular payment method across retail industry. From the MasterCard’s Mobile Shopping Survey conducted in December 2015, 48.5% consumers in Asia made purchase using smartphones, and one in five are now using digital wallet, which is a twofold increase from 2 years ago. In mainland China, the use of digital wallet is approximate 45% and becomes the biggest adopter of digital wallet in the region.
To cope with the ever-changing financial technology (FinTech) development, C&T’s flagship Enterprise Retail Management (ERM) software product – ChainStorePlus upgrades features to keep pace with fast-moving mobile trends. The newly released payment module is now available to support various digital wallet, including Apple Pay, WeChat Pay and Alipay.
The function is built on sophiscated ChainStorePlus platform with integration of merchant-selected payment gateway:
- In transaction, consumer can simply activate the digital wallet mobile application and select “Payment”. A dedicated transaction QR code will be displayed after entering the security code.
- Scanning the QR code to acquire consumer’s information, the merchant can start the process of payment.

- With the new payment module in ChainStorePlus, the system will display the settlement amount in assigned payment method automatically. Transaction details can be shown clearly in pre-defined sales invoice for record purpose.
Applying FinTech brings convenience and efficiency to ChainStorePlus’ customers. VITOVA releases new document data recognition module – VitalCapture
The data lying in raw was just data until yesterday. The process of extracting data accurately is the way to start the journey of Big Data. Among different data sources, paper is an inescapable part of information flow-in. Automated processing of fixed forms such as application forms, personal records or ballot papers with Optical character recognition (OCR) is widely accepted. But what about processing of other types of documents? Forms without a fixed layout, like invoices, receipts, legal documents, etc.?
In response to the need of capturing, C&T’s flagship software product – VITOVA has released the latest module – VitalCapture, a comprehensive data capture solution, which turns vast information into business-ready data and delivers to other third-party systems.
VitalCapture technologies is based on the principles of Integrity, Purposefulness and Adaptability (IPA) which imitate the way humans recognize objects. The operation process is defined into 5 stages: Capture, Classification, Recognition, Store and Integration.
Following the IPA principal, the geometrical and spatial characteristics of a document (e.g. dining receipt) are collected by pre-defined fields. VitalCaputre allows intelligent and flexible approach to data extraction: content of the field, relation of other objects, the size of the filed, lines or gaps nearby. The new module works well even if it has to deal with documents of poor quality which cannot be recognized by other OCR engines.
The latest module of VITOVA paths the way to new generation of Enterprise Information Management, starting from capturing and move forward to process and share. Integrated with third party system for data analysis will be the key of extensive growth of named software product in the near future.

In the 3rd Quarter of 2016, Platinum China (Platinum) entered strategic cooperation with Swire Food, NOK-FREUDENBERG and Dongjiang Environment respectively. Customized human resources management solutions met the specific business and regulatory requirements of enterprise in China.
Being a wholly-owned holding company of Swire Food, Chongqing Qin Yuan is a leading bakery chain brand with more than 5,000 stores in Southwest China. Platinum reached an official cooperation agreement on human resources management project with the Brand by providing core functional modules, including Organization Structure, compensation calculation and attendance tracking. The integrated modules benefits almost 4,000 employees with efficient human resources management workflow.
NOK-FREUDENBERG (CHINA) is an equal-share joint venture between NOK Corporation (Japan) and Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (Germany), which produces and imports sealed products to serve numerous European, US, Japanese and Chinese customers in automotive and general industry sectors in China. By selecting Platinum HRM solutions, scattered employees in 6 sales points and production sales can have centralized human resources management across the region.
