Hai Tong Securities selects C&T for major network expansion

C&T Integration has secured a RMB2.3 million contract from Hai Tong Securities Co., Ltd. ("Hai Tong") for a major network integration project aiming to improve its overall operational efficiency and to further enhance its online electronic stock trading service in terms of response time and network security. The entire network expansion project includes the upgrade of Hai Tong's backbone network routers as well as all network switches for ensuring better data integrity and preventing any unauthorised access by external parties. The new network will also offer Hai Tong a customised security solution by installing Juniper NS-IDP-200 detection appliances which provide comprehensive protection against network and application-level attacks. Such an enhanced security solution aligns with the business strategy of Hai Tong for better protection of information and minimizing human errors.
