IPL has received an IPL-HRIS contract from Haven of Hope Christian Service (Haven of Hope). Haven of Hope is a non-profit making, diversified medical and social organization founded by a group of foreign missionaries. Haven of Hope (formerly as "Junk Bay Medical Relief Council") had started the medical relief work since the early 50's when refugees came to Junk Bank (near Tseung Kwan O now) from Mainland China to temporarily resided in Rennie Hill. Its predecessors came to the Rennie's Mill Refugee Camp in 1951 to provide simple medical relief for the refugees. Their work soon increased in scale. And Haven of Hope has been serving the Hong Kong community for over 50 years. Its services include health care service, elderly care service, rehabilitative care service, community health and family care service, evangelistic work and a number of innovative and ground-breaking services.

The contract includes the IPL-HRIS basic modules of Human Resources, Leave, Payroll, MPF, Training module and HRAAS module. The IPL Online modules such as Employee Self Service, iLeave, iTraining, iRecruitment and iClaim workflow systems that will link directly with the core HR modules will be implemented to automate the administrative work and to reduce paper work and documentation. The IPL Online Systems support fully web-based interface for location and time independent. These systems will provide management and human resources with immediate and on-time access to employee information.
