Hong Kong, July 16, 2010 - Leading locally-listed information technology services company Computer And Technologies Holdings Limited ("C&T", SEHK 00046), through its subsidiary Computer And Technologies (Shanghai) Co., Limited ("C&T Shanghai"), has once again entrusted by long-time customer Ernst & Young Hua Ming ("E&Y Hua Ming") to support its office relocation project in Shanghai.
E&Y Hua Ming was one of the first international professional services organization permitted by the Chinese government to establish member firm in Beijing in 1983. Today, Ernst & Young China has developed into one of the leading accounting firms in China employing more than 7,000 people.
To facilitate its operation and management, E&Y Hua Ming aimed to integrate three of its offices in Shanghai into one mega office. The related project scope involves relocation of office equipment and capacity expansion of network infrastructure in order to enhance overall performance and efficiency.
Under the new contracts worth multi-million RMB, C&T was responsible for the provisioning of state-of-the-art network equipment with installation as well as professional services in relation to the relocation. The proposed solution was primarily based on a cluster of Cisco advanced technology products include 6509 and 3750 Catalysts Switches as well as 3845 Integrated Services Router as Voice Gateway.
