Hong Kong, July 7, 2010 - Leading locally-listed information technology services company Computer And Technologies Holdings Limited (“C&T”, SEHK 00046), through its subsidiary Computer And Technologies (Shanghai) Co., Limited (“C&T Shanghai”), has recently completed several new contracts worth multi-million RMB from China Pacific Insurance (Group) Company Limited (“CPIC”) for enhancing its network monitoring and telemarketing network infrastructure.
CPIC, one of the most renowned insurance companies in China, has over 5,000 branches and marketing outlets and nationwide sales and service network, providing individual and institutional clients with a wide range of risk prevention solutions, financial advices and asset management services.
Over the past years, CPIC has been investing substantially to uplift its information system infrastructure to cope up with its fast growing business and to further enhance its competitiveness and market leadership. C&T Shanghai has been engaged as a long-term technology partner of CPIC since 1997 to support the insurance giant in accomplishing implementation of various large-scale information infrastructure projects.
Under the new contracts, C&T was responsible for the provisioning of state-of-the-art network solutions for CPIC regarding network monitoring and telemarketing infrastructure. The solutions were primarily based on advanced technology from Netscout System and Cisco.
