Hong Kong, 29 September 2009 - Leading locally listed information technology services company Computer And Technologies Holdings Limited (“C&T Holdings”, SEHK 00046), through its subsidiary Computer And Technologies Integration Limited (“C&T Integration”), has recently completed several new contracts for Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (“SPDB” or the “Bank”) to optimize its network infrastructure for its online banking testing system at Eastern Tower.

Being one of the leading banks in China, SPDB was the first commercial bank listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1999. With headquarters located in Shanghai, the Bank currently has more than 400 business network sites in China as well as a representative office in Hong Kong.

In order to cope with the rapid development of the Bank, C&T Integration has customized a solution for SPDB to enhance its network infrastructure at Eastern Tower and to provide state-of-the-art network equipment for its online banking application development and testing platform. Since online banking is getting increasingly popular in China, it is crucial for SPDB to extend its footprints in this area in order to solidify its leading position in banking industry. .

Under the contracts, C&T Integration was responsible for provision of advanced network equipment, installation as well as after-sales support services. This enhancement aimed at providing a better operation environment with high performance network equipment for catering their growing customer needs. The proposed solution was built on top of a series of Cisco network equipment including model 4506 and 3560 Catalyst routers and 2811 switches.
