Hong Kong, 12 Feb 2009 - Leading locally listed information technology services company Computer And Technologies Holdings Limited (“C&T Holdings”, SEHK 00046), through its subsidiary Computer And Technologies Integration Limited (“C&T Integration”), has recently completed a project for the First Hospital of Jilin University (“the First Hospital”) with contract sum worth close to 10 million RMB for building an advanced network infrastructure for the First Hospital.

Subordinated to Jilin University, the First Hospital is administered by the Ministry of Public Health. Taking medical care, teaching, scientific research, disease prevention, health care and rehabilitation as a whole, the First Hospital is the first A-hospital of Grade Three in Jilin Province and one of the 100 best hospitals in China.

With the rapid growing demand for public health services nowadays, the First Hospital has an imperative demand to implement a stable and reliable medical information system and a medical network infrastructure for the daily operation. To meet the business goals, the First Hospital aimed to build a new, stable, speedy and secured private network infrastructure which is interoperable with its existing network infrastructure. Leveraging our proven track records in implementing large-scale information infrastructure projects for enterprises, C&T Integration was entrusted to design and implement this project for the First Hospital. The design of the proposed solution was based on a cluster of advanced technology products of Cisco including Cisco Catalyst 6509 and 4503 switches as well as Cisco ASA 5540 Firewall.
